Thanksgiving Leftovers Party Sunday

Published by

on

Parks & Rec and your fellow villagers gather this Thanksgiving Sunday from 5 to 10 for hanging out and leftovers at the Life Saving Station (1120 Furnace Street, at the  Waterfront Park). Come and share your leftovers potluck style or just try everyone else’s. Soft drinks and coffee provided. At 7 pm Andrew Bolander presents the “Chronicles of the Life Saving Station,” a historical talk. Throughout the evening: Place your silent auction bid for the Elberta Solstice Quilt, handmade from Solstice Festival T shirts by Rosemary Tanner and Cyndi Larson. Quilt auction winner will be announced at 8pm. BONUS: *free* studio-quality digital portraiture goes on throughout the night, for your holiday greeting card. Acoustic live music provided by Mr. Dan Kelly. Come join us and see why we’re thankful for small-town northern living. More info on villageofelberta.com and the Elberta Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
