Postmaster Tim Flynn will be taking his early retirement “option” at the end of this month. On October 16, a public hearing will be held on the future of our Elberta post office, at 12 noon in the Community Building on First Street. Come out and make your voice heard. Options are: closure; having a “village style” post office in the back of a local business; or part-time hours (4 hours a day).
