Lot no. 1, the one and only Elberta Solstice Festival Quilt. It’s a full/double  (54″ x 75″) coverlet handcrafted out of Elberta Solstice T-shirts and donated as a benefit to the Village by artisans Rosemary Tanner and Cynthia Larson.

This is a truly unique piece of Americana, made in 2015 to commemorate the Elberta Solstice Festival, which has been held annually since 2002. → → →

 
Proceeds from the sale of this quilt will fund ongoing improvements to the historic Elberta Life Saving Station, where the festival has been held and which currently is a major source of the Village’s revenue. The LSS is in need of winterization, accessibility updates, and preservation.
 
Bidding starts at $300. Bids may be placed at the Village Office or online at VillageofElberta.com. Final bidding will take place at the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Leftovers Party, November 27 from 5 pm to 8pm.

The quilt will go to the highest bidder when bidding closes, at 8 pm November 27 at
the Elberta Life Saving Station, during the Thanksgiving Leftovers Party.
 
Must be 18 or older to bid. Winner must arrange to pick up quilt; no shipping.
