With sadness we note the passing of Mabel Little, 93, September 25 at Munson Hospital, from complications of a fall on the post office steps Tuesday the 24th. Mabel was a shining light in the village, a woman of strength and high spirits who was so proud of her 73-years of marriage to her beloved Allen, whom she cared for tirelessly till the end. Members of the Little family are with Alan at this time. Patricia Little, Mabel’s granddaughter, says: “As many of you know my amazing Grandma Mabel Little unexpectedly passed away Wednesday.  Thank you for all the kind words, thoughts and prayers.” A visitation will take place Sunday, September 29, from 4pm to 8pm at Jowett Funeral Home in Benzonia, with and a memorial service will be held Monday, September 30, at 1 pm at Elberta United Methodist Church, where Mabel so wonderfully sang every Sunday.
