I see real literary potential in Clara’s writing. Keep the keyboard humming. Some suggestions: Take every opportunity to exercise and develop your writing skills. Read the great (and not so great) authors and study their styles. It is not cheating to incorporate Cliff Notes into your research to save time. Consider taking as many English grammar and composition courses as you can squeeze in from elementary and junior high through high school. Sign up for journalism and write for the school paper. Seek experience editing other students’ work, a great way to see other styles and approaches. Down side? You’ll love it so much it’s all you’ll want to do! Enjoy!!!
