It’s easier to get excited about the cold weather when you realize that you can go skating at the Benzonia Ice Rink any old time! Maybe you haven’t been because you need skates? Here’s your chance to get some cheap and help fund rink maintenance.

“Need skates? Want to trade skates for a different size? Or do you just want to donate skates and support a great cause?

L’Chayim is hosting a SKATE SWAP to benefit the Benzonia Ice Rink. For a minimum $5 donation, drop off your skates Thursday, Jan 3 or Friday, Jan 4 (any time from 8:00-3:00) and get a ticket to swap. SWAP will take place on Saturday, Jan 5 from 10:00-2:00. Pick up unclaimed skates from 2:00-3:00 on Saturday. Any skates left after 3:00 will be donated to BACN. Additional donations for the rink will also be accepted.
